Whether you’re travelling 2000 Miles to get here or Driving Home for Christmas, we’ve got something for all. Merry Christmas Everyone!
Edinburgh Christmas Market

Filled with sparkly, festive and colourful stalls, the Edinburgh Christmas Market is one not to be missed! Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, off the glorious Princes Street, the market is the perfect place to get yourself immersed in the Christmas spirit. Wander around and find everything from local, bespoke gifts to international tasty treats, there is something for everyone!
Have a wander around the markets, gaze in awe at all the stalls, build up an appetite. Then head to the food sections where you will find German sausages, crêpes, doughnuts, crispy spiralised potatoes and so much more – it’s a festive food heaven!
An Edinburgh Christmas Carol @ the Lyceum

You’ve heard of the classic Christmas tale, but you’ll never have experienced it like this! According to Edinburgh folklore, the story goes that Charles Dickens was visiting a graveyard in the majestic Capital when he came across the tombstone of one Ebenezer Scroggie, leading to a tale being born!
Head to the Lyceum Theatre this festive period and witness the story as you’ve never heard it before. With an exciting Edinburgh twist, there might even be a wee visit from our own Victorian pup – Greyfriars Bobby!
Santa Land with the Kids

Perfect for that family day out – why not visit Santa Land! Located within the Christmas Market they’ve got fun for all ages! Enjoy getting lost in the Christmas Tree Maze, pretend you’re flying on the Chair-O-Planes and take a leisurely horse ride on the Carousel.
If rides aren’t up your street, don’t fret! There are a host of alternative things to do in Santa Land, from lots of lovely street food to stalls selling all manner of different things for this festive season!
Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar

We couldn’t have a blog and not talk about whisky – that would be absurd! The Johnnie Walker Bothy Bar, located on the Mound, is the perfect place to grab your winter warmer whilst you’re at the Christmas Markets. The bothy serves a range of whisky cocktails and hot toddies to warm you up this winter period. If you aren’t the biggest fan of whisky, or you don’t drink alcohol, don’t worry they have a range of other beverages to suit your tastes!
You also get a brilliant view of the whole market from the bothy’s outdoor viewing platform, so be sure to check it out!
Santa Fun Run & Walk

Celebrating its 15th year, this Santa Fun Run & Walk is a great way to raise some money for charity this Christmas. The event will see West Princes Street Gardens turned into a sea of Santas over a short 2.5km circuit to raise money for When You Wish Upon A Star. This amazing charity grants a very special Wish for children who are living with a life threatening illness throughout Scotland.
