Lastly, if your dad’s whisky enthusiasm is bordering on professional, why not enrol him on our Scotch Whisky Training School? The only whisky qualification to be officially recognised by the Scotch whisky industry, this full-day course is the perfect way to get seriously in-depth with whisky, learning about how it’s made, the differences between international spirits, and what affects the final flavours. In the afternoon he’ll get to create his very own blended whisky, and after a short exam, will be presented with a certificate to recognise his newly-gained knowledge. The perfect day out for a whisky fan.
